As the date for our first annual franchisee convention approached, so did the snow. All of us at the office stared at the weather in horror. We had franchisees coming in from all over the country and they were calling for 6″ of snow in Virginia Beach (which, by the way, never gets snow). We worried travel plans would be effected and people would have to cancel, but as the day arrived and we kept seeing more smiling faces arrive, our franchisees proved once again just how dedicated they are.
Our first convention was a huge success. We can’t thank everyone enough for traveling to spend the weekend with us sharing ideas, learning new tricks, and of course having some fun. CEO Kevin Wilson kicked off the weekend with a State of MoJo Address to get everyone ready for all the amazing things to come in 2014. Later, our keynote speaker Nick Powills of No Limit Agency had us laughing while thinking about the story we all have to tell (don’t forget, 8 seconds to make a first impression), and then we had some team building on the go kart track.
One of our favorite parts of the convention was our dinner and awards ceremony, where we relaxed over some good food and even better company and also recognized franchisees who stood out in 2013. We couldn’t be more excited for our winners:
We say this all the time, but it is worth repeating – our franchisees are the reason this is such an amazing company. Thank you again to all of our franchisees who attended the convention and made it so special, especially those that had to brave inclement weather to do so. Thanks to all the vendors that made the trip to put a face with the companies the franchisees work with every day.
