Our Team

The Bernard Family of Mosquito Joe of Southern New Hampshire is your MoJo team, dedicated to making outside fun again!

Kris Bernard, Owner/Operator, aka “Mama Joe” is a lifelong resident of New Hampshire and mosquito magnet extraordinaire. Kris loves hanging outside with family and friends, but unfortunately (before Mosquito Joe came to save the day) mosquitoes would end up crashing the party every time. Kris also has two dogs and got really sick and tired of Stella (an English bulldog) and Murphy (a golden retriever) getting covered in ticks every time they went outside in the spring and summer. Mosquito Joe’s effective control of ticks and mosquitoes has made outside fun again for the entire family, and more importantly, lowered their risks of contracting tick-borne illnesses (such as Lyme Disease). Kris is a licensed applicator in the State of New Hampshire and loves helping make a difference in her community by partnering with her customers in mosquito and tick control. In her spare time, Kris enjoys going to her kids’ sporting events, traveling, and spending time at the family’s camp in Maine.

Dan Bernard, Owner, aka “Daddy Joe” is also a lifelong resident of New Hampshire. He is Kris’ right-hand Joe in the field. Dan is a licensed applicator in the State of New Hampshire and is our resident expert on the products we use to make outside fun again. He trains our licensed technicians how to safely treat for those pesky mosquitoes, ticks and fleas, while respecting our pollinating friends and their food. He finds great pleasure in providing a solution for folks to enjoy the outdoor living spaces that they work hard to create. Dan has been in banking for 25 years, so we let him take care of the bookkeeping as well. In his spare time, Dan enjoys road and mountain biking, working on projects around the house, and spending time at his “happy place” – a little camp on Maranacook Lake in Maine.

Matthew Bernard, aka “Matty Joe” graduated from college and is an HVAC tech. When we are super busy, he’ll still spray for us on weekends. Matt is a licensed applicator in the State of NH. You’ll never find a harder working kid or one is more passionate about ridding your yard of pests. In his spare time he loves to watch “Deadliest Catch” and go fishing on his new fishing boat!

Jacob and Emma Bernard, aka “Jakey Joe” and “Emma Joe” are both students. Jacob graduated from Pinkerton Academy and he is currently attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, pursuing a degree in Construction Management. He is a licensed applicator in the State of NH and in his spare time he loves to play X-Box and only leaves his room for food or to play basketball. Emma goes to a charter high school in Exeter and loves all things Disney and to play volleyball. She’ll be graduating in June and moving to Florida for college and to pursue her dream of working at Disney. We’re excited for her but will also be a bit sad to be so far away from our baby girl!
