Mosquito Joe of Lake Charles-Lafayette is locally owned and operated by Steve DeHart and family, who is a dedicated family and businessman who loves the outdoors. Prior to joining Mosquito Joe, Steven worked in the Oil and Gas industry for 25 years, providing services such as Mechanical Integrity and Asset Inspection to clients in a variety of industries. When he is not working, Steven devotes his time to his family and community, and he is always searching for ways to better himself as a Husband, Father, Brother, Son, and person. His prominent personal and community pastimes over the years have included playing guitar for 34 years, playing guitar in a Heavy Metal band, and attending concerts, as well as officiating High School football for 14 years and coaching softball. As a member of a family that appreciates the great outdoors, Steven recognizes the importance of pest control in keeping our homes and outdoor activities itch-free. Steven and his family discovered Mosquito Joe when looking for a new business opportunity that would allow them to deliver a high-quality service to their community. The DeHart’s became drawn to Mosquito Joe because of its dynamic opportunities for professional growth, but they ultimately joined the company because of its welcoming, open-door family-driven environment that Mosquito Joe exemplifies. So far, their favorite aspect of Mosquito Joe has been the assistance and fellowship of Mosquito Joe team members. Through Mosquito Joe, the DeHart’s aspire to provide services that bring comfort and joy to everyday outdoor life and to participate in events, causes, and organizations that bring value to their community. The greatest strength of the DeHart’s is their honesty, integrity, and servant leadership, which will enable them to assist individuals and families in their community in discovering and appreciating the beauty of the outdoors without having to worry about the nuisances of outdoor pests.
