We enjoy our backyard so much more since starting treatment with Mosquito Joe several years ago. The gnats and mosquitoes used to be terrible for the entire summer, but now they are barely noticeable. Our technician, Paris, did a great job. I always appreciated his texts telling me when he was coming and when he had finished the treatment.

I’m in my second year with Mosquito Joe. Because of their service, I’m able to fully enjoy my yard without dousing myself with harmful insect repellants. Paris has been my technician for both seasons, and he’s great. We’ve been customers of Mosquito Joe for many years now. We found them at a booth at the Sterling Home&Garden show. We had become fed up with being unable to enjoy our yard for gardening or entertaining because of the aggressive Mosquitos. We ordered a season’s worth of treatments and were so happy with the near immediate results that we pre-buy every new season when the time comes. It really has made all the difference in our quality of life in the District. And I must go out of my way to mention Paris, the regular tech who works our account. He is so unbelievably thorough and conscientious that I can’t help but think he’s a big part of the success of the program. I’ve actually called his HQ to tell them as much. We think very highly of his work. In short; worth every penny. Also HQ answers the phone when you call and are very responsive to my scheduling needs. City living, I keep my property locked and sometimes their schedule doesn’t fit mine. I’ve never had an issue trying to re-arrange their proposed treatment dates.

We’ve had Mosquito Joe’s eco-friendly treatment for the past few summers and we have not been happier with the company service and the work by our tech, John. We’re able to use our backyard on weekends and afternoons with nearly zero mosquito sitings (or bitings!). The eco friendly treatment is nice in that is hasn’t driven away bees, butterflies, fireflies, or other productive insects.

We have been using (blessedly!) the services of Mosquito Joe for several years now – and we are truly amazed at the way it has affected our outdoor life. We now have a summer outdoor life without saturating the patio with Yard Guard – cans and cans of Yard Guard. Layers and layers of OFF! Can you see my smile? Mosquito Joe comes reliably every two weeks. And Paris, the young man applying our treatment, is extremely thorough. We have a deep yard with a lot of plantings and foliage. Paris carefully makes his through all of it – our front and side yards are equally dense. He is personable and courteous and never neglects our deck. This is getting lengthy – but honestly, Mosquito Joe has made such a difference to our enjoyment of summer outdoors. And their staff is so competent and responsive – both at our home and with phone inquiries. Truly a great experience.

I think my technician did a awesome job he came and he put a spray for the mosquitoes. They also have a program where as they can spray for the Rose, which you know DC has a problem with rats so their rodents and I have not seen any since my his initial visit so I do recommend him highly very professional very competent and if he can work around your schedule, he will if you have to run out if he knows you’re coming backin 10 minutes or less possibly he will wait so I am very pleased

I wanted a bug-free yard for a graduation party. It’s still spring, so gnats were the big issue, with mosquitoes in second place. My technician, Paris went ABOVE AND BEYOND! He noticed that it was going to rain hard for 2 days before my event. So he offered to visit my house TWICE at no extra cost to me. Once to come place the granular treatment for the gnats BEFORE the rain because the rain actually helps “water it in.” And again AFTER the heavy rains to spray for mosquitoes breeding in all the puddles left behind. The home office helper (Natalie?) was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve never hired outdoor pest control pros before and now I know who I will call next time! For context, I am what some might call a “picky” customer and rarely leave reviews, so this one means a lot!

We love Mosquito Joes and our tech Paris. He is the consummate professional — always giving us a heads up when he is coming and reminding us when he leaves so we can monitor our kids (and dog) activities outside. A ton of mosquitos in our neighborhood but thankfully we haven’t had any issues thanks to the team. Thanks Paris — you are the man!

It really works, and the customer service couldn’t be better! I spoke with the owner of my local branch, and he took the time to walk me through everything and answer all of questions. 100% recommend!!

23 Apr 24 Update: I’ve been a Mosquito Joe customer for a few years now and am very satisfied with their service. One of my neighbors has been a customer for several years and recommended their service as a way to join forces in our battle to enjoy working/playing/relaxing in our yards without being eaten alive by these voracious vampires also known as Virginia mosquitos. Over the years, several different technicians have come to my home, and all of them have communicated proactively the day before and day of service on arrival times and when the service was completed. My current technician is John, and he is no exception to the high standard of customer service. I have far fewer mosquitos in my yards, and if it unexpectedly rains after a treatment, i just call, and Mosquito Joe will send a technician back out to retreat the property. I also appreciate the discount on their annual service plan if you pay in advance. Thanks for the great experience!

Highly recommend Mosquito Joes! I’ve used them for years. Mosquitoes are a big problem in our areas and for my family. We do not have a mosquito problem anymore. Mosquito Joes also takes care of the pesky gnats. No issues with either! My Technician, John, does a great job! Very personable, answered all my questions and very thorough.

I asked the young man who performed my service today his name, so i hope i didn’t scare him off. I would like to actually let you know that he is a really good rep. He always call first, always ask if there is any area of focus, and I really appreciate the attention he gives to my probably long drawn out hypothesis of what i think happens. And he loves the effectiveness of these “granules” from what i can tell lol. Tayvon Phillips is a keeper!

Mosquito Joe has made our outside areas tolerable for two seasons now. The business office is very responsive, and their techs are communicative, conscientious, thorough, and friendly. This summer, we have primarily worked with Paris as our tech, and we so appreciate his texts letting us know when he’ll arrive and his video texts showing us the completed work. He takes pride in his work and the service, and we sure notice it when we enjoy our patio without being attacked by mosquitoes.

We’ve used Mosquito Joe for many years at 2 properties. Paris is out latest tech and he is awesome – very thorough and personable. I love how they use text to communicate when he’s coming as well as send a follow up video after giving me pointers on things he sees in the yard. They are also prompt when needing to reschedule for weather.

When rescheduling is necessary for any reason, the front office is always wonderful, easy to work with, and prompt. I want to give a special thank you to our tech, Lorenzo – he is always on-time, contacts us ahead of time when he is on the way, and makes sure to send a video message when work is complete. He takes particular care to treat all areas of our property, including some hard to reach areas uphill and covered in English ivy that is not always fun to venture into. But I can tell you it makes a difference for us because he does. We appreciate his work ethic, attention detail, excellence, and attitude so much – thank you, Lorenzo. Since mosquitoes in DC are so bad and I love relaxing and gardening in my yard, I decided to try Mosquito Joe, a local pest control company, to eliminate mosquitoes in my backyard and around my house. Trayvon starting treating my lawn in the spring and applied monthly applications throughout the summer. He routinely notified me before coming to my home and always reminded me to keep my pets inside for an hour after the application. I found the service, which also treats ticks and fleas, extremely effective and affordable. The service is also very easy to set up and they can give you a quote over the phone.
