Originally from South Jersey, Kate DeLuca brings a passion for people and community service to her role as the proud local owner of Mosquito Joe of Charlottesville & Central VA. With a B.A. in Social Work from Temple University and a Master’s in Education from West Chester University, Kate has built her career around helping others—and now channels that energy into protecting local families from mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas. When the Mosquito Joe trucks are off the road during the offseason, Kate serves as a Learning Specialist and Tutor Coordinator for Athletic Academic Affairs at the University of Virginia. Her work with UVA student-athletes fuels her love for the Cavaliers, and she’s a devoted fan of all things Hoos. Kate is deeply committed to the Charlottesville and Central Virginia community, and takes great pride in providing a service that allows families to enjoy their outdoor spaces safely and comfortably. For her, it’s more than pest control—it’s about building relationships and giving back to the place she calls home. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find Kate at a local winery with friends, cheering on the Hoos at a UVA game, or spending quality time with her husband and kids.

Originally from Charlottesville, Roger graduated from Western Albemarle and brings a strong work ethic and deep knowledge of pest behavior to every job. With several years of hands-on experience, he takes pride in solving challenging infestations and making customers feel safe in their homes and businesses. A loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Roger never misses a game when the season rolls around. When asked what he enjoys most about working at Mosquito Joe, he says, “I like brining good customer service to our local community.” When he’s not on the job, you can usually find Roger at King’s Dominion, driving around the greater Charlottesville area, and playing video games – Forza Horizon is his favorite.
