I've tried alternatives. But Mosquito Joe is the only one we use because of its efficacy in treating mosquitos. I recommend early treatment in spring through fall. It is very effective. Moreover, it is so easy! They email you the day before, billing is automated, and the treatment is good for about 3-4 weeks. This is a fogging method, with a backpack blower. It creates a barrier around my home. I have used them for several years. Can't believe how much outdoor enjoyment I've missed not having used them earlier. Customer for life.
