No-see-ums are a type of gnat that populate damp areas around your property and aquatic habitats such as fast-flowing streams and deep lakes. Just like mosquitoes, no-see-ums bite and extract blood from humans and animals. Non-biting midges, or chironomids, are gray and less than 1/8 of an inch in length. In the adult stage, they resemble mosquitoes, with females utilizing their long proboscis to extract blood from their victims.

I can't recommend Mosquito Joe's enough! Kevin Jesse and staff have changed our lives! I know that sounds weird but hear me out- before Mosquito Joe's service we had a huge problem with no-see-ums, ants and spiders. We barely soent time in our backyard because you could count on at least 15 bites in 2 minutes let alone one mosquito or no seeum sneaking in to terrorize us for days. I have tried every natural product on the market, finally resorted to chemicals with very little impact. My final straw was when my put of state grandson came to visit. We didn't see any bugs because it was the middle of the day. I went out to check on him about 2 minutes later and was shocked. He was covered in welts from no less than 50 bites (yes I counted!). That was it. All the signs I had been seeing along my road plus their amazing reviews and I called them. They did an intense series of treatments but honestly the first night was drastically reduced bugs. Within two weeks I noticed the millions of ants on my patio were gone. No bugs landed on us. Now, get this-we live on a canal. The best part? We had a huge problem with spiders and ants INSIDE the house and the "side-effect" of treating outside is that it had killed just about every living critter inside too! If you were on the fence about whether this will work-jump it! You will not regret it. Amazingly kind and courteous techs and even more spectacular results. No issue with our pets either! Love this company!!!!!!
