Mosquito Control in Accomac, VA

This is our first year with Mosquito Joe. Our property sits on the water and the mosquitoes have been a huge challenge for us. These guys have been fantastic in their efforts to eliminate the mosquitoes. Toddrell is great! During our last application, I mentioned that while significantly improved, they are still an issue. He took the time to explain the different alternative solutions available to try next time and moved the traps closer to the water. I appreciate his knowledge, his time, and effort to ensure that our family can enjoy the outdoors this summer.

First application lasted maybe 17 days. Second application, I was attacked by several mosquitoes the same after, next day only a couple, third day none. Still early in the game trying to navigate the usefulness of it. Over all, it works.

*EDIT* – I originally accidentally posted this review (negative) for this regional location rather than the corporate franchise Google account as I had intended to do. The owner of this franchise responded and let me know my error. The professionalism of his response is commendable and I would like to apologize for accidentally posting a negative review to his location. I have changed this to 5-stars purely because I thought his response was extremely nice. If MY franchise owner exhibited this level of professionalism I would likely to still be doing business with Mosquito Joe. *ORIGINAL* – I've been a SE regional customer of Mosquito Joe for 3 years. A month ago, I received my first service of the season. About 3 weeks later, we didn't see our technician as we normally would. About 4 weeks later, I reached out to our franchise office to see when our next scheduled appointment would be. I received no call back. Fast forward a few weeks, multiple texts, and multiple voicemails – I received zero reply. Today, 5/15/26 I call the corporate office to ask them for assistance in getting in touch with someone. A few hours later I get a generic automated email from the corporate offices stating "Thank you so much for your interest in Mosquito Joe services, unfortunately we do not currently have a franchise serving your area." I replied and asked if this was sent in error… I'm not interested in services, I'm an existing customer. What gives? Then – finally I get my answer. The franchise office in my location has closed. Not once over the last month have I received any communication informing me this was coming. And I had to chase answers for several weeks to try and give them my business. This should not be that complicated… You have a franchise closing? Call their clients and either help them connect with another service location or just TELL THEM what's going on. Now, I have to go find another service provider and wait to get on their schedule. While our yard has been untreated for a month and a half. I would never recommend doing business with this company again. Because if anything goes wrong with your individual franchise office, GOOD LUCK getting support from the corporate offcies. Which is such a shame, because we had a decent experience with Mosquito Joe up to this point.

I was very skeptical about them being able to reduce the amount of mosquitoes around our home as we live around a lot of water. But I can tell you it is a night vs day difference. This time of year I didn't dare go outside in the evening without bug spray, and that didn't even fully work. Now I go out and do not have to use any bug spray. It is awesome and well worth it!

Just started my service with them and it’s been excellent so far. The initial booking (with Reba) was easy and fast. The two gentlemen that came out to the house (Antwan and Joe) were super nice, informative, and worked diligently to ensure all our areas of concern were covered around the house. 10/10 recommend!
