  • Best money I have ever spent! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. This is a responsive, friendly, locally owned business that does an INCREDIBLE JOB at eliminating mosquitoes. For the first time in years I can go outside without bug spray!!!!! I have a large wooded lot and the front quarter acre becomes a swamp every time it rains hard (so every other week in Georgia) – standing water that slowly drains over 2 or 3 days. Sometimes the standing water gets to be ankle high. One neighbor is elderly and his back yard (which backs up to my side yard) is completely over grown. The neighbor on the other side either doesn't live there full time or simply does not believe in yard care – so my yard is the perfect trifecta for mosquito breeding. I used to keep bug spray by every door and walked around with one of those hand held bug zapping rackets. You could literally see swarms of mosquitoes through the screen door just waiting to get in. My poor dogs could not be left outside because they would be attacked (I had special puppy mosquito spray). My kitty wasn't allowed outside for months at a time because his ears would be bitten and he would scratch until they bled. I would get bit just walking from the door to my car in the driveway. There was always a mosquito or two somewhere in my house and 3 or 4 bites on me. An outdoor event or BBQ was out of the question. All that has changed. I hired Mosquito Joe and I saw (literally) 1 mosquito last summer, and that's only because I skipped a few of the recommended treatments. The results were immediate. I could kick myself for waiting so long!! Mosquito Joe does an incredible job. The technician walked me through what he was doing, what products he was using, and how safe those products were for me, my pets, and the environment. They email me before they come out and if I don't want a treatment, I email them back and they skip my house with no problem and no attitude. They are responsive by phone and email and just as friendly as they can be. They don't spray when rain is in the forecast and it's really easy to postpone or cancel services. Last year I needed less than the recommended number of treatments because it worked so well!!! I should have done this years ago. I tell all my friends about them. Mosquito Joe Decatur cannot be beat. They have a lifelong customer in me. I cannot recommend them high enough.

  • Working with the local franchisee has been an excellent experience. He treats each client as a friend and his excellent technicians treat your property as if it were their own. They have an organic mosquito spray that won't harm insects like butterflies and honey bees. If you still experience mosquitos after they spray, they will come out and spray again for free. They have several plans based on the number of sprays you want each season. Also you get a sizeable discount if you pay for the whole season up front. Highly recommended! Thanks Andrew! .
