  • My husband and I went into our pool yesterday evening around 5:00pm. We had only two mosquitoes buzz around us. One landed on myself, which we killed, and the other one buzzed around for a while before leaving. If there is a mosquito anywhere in the area, it will find me. This is good news, because usually it’s so bad, they run us off back into the house. I think that’s really good news, especially since we have only had one treatment, so far. I can’t wait until all of the initial treatments are done to see how great the full results will be!

  • If I could, I’d give 10+ stars in this review for Mosquito Joe of Metro Northwest DFW. We have been customers 3-4 years now. I try to avoid pesticides and such whenever possible. But the risk from mosquito-borne illness is too great. West Nile, Zika, encephalitis (and many more) really do scare me. So it’s an unexpected pleasure to find a well-run small business — especially for something this critical. Excellent service — both in the field AND the office. The technicians are CONSISTENTLY helpful, polite, well-trained, and educated. They text ahead, giving us plenty of time to bring in dog toys, the water bucket, etc. (If I’m gone or I have forgotten, they’ve actually dumped the bucket for me and turned it upside down to prevent contamination.) The ENTIRE office staff is just as good! I’m a small biz owner, too. So I appreciate how difficult this can be. I first earned my stripes managing all aspects of small biz for other entrepreneurs. It’s easy to spot the rare service provider who hires friendly and efficient people. MJ’s office staff thinks on their feet, troubleshoots the unexpected, and follows up with crazy-busy clients like me. (Especially helpful — I’m no longer as organized as I’d like!) They have grown, which is obviously desirable. BUT this is also where where many small businesses don’t make it — they can’t scale up. That indicates franchise management with good backup to smooth out growing pains. So YES! Support your small biz owner/neighbor. They offer excellent service and secure jobs to your other neighbors. You’ll be happy. And if the odd thing happens where you’re not happy, they’ll fix it.
