Mosquito Joe's is timely and does a thorough job spraying for mosquitoes. I am like a buffet for mosquitos and this treatment allows me to be outside and not get eaten alive. My technician, Anthony, is always friendly and courteous with text messages letting me know when he has arrived and when he has finished.

Mosquito Joe of Northern Va has IMHO the best customer service and product! Here’s why: we live in Annandale and our property contains many trees, brush, and landscaping flowers. We have feared enjoying our yard during spring and summer since we moved here in 03. The product used by mosquito Joe had absolutely let us return to outdoors at all hours of the day! In addition; the best part which rarely occurs; is if you have a concern; the management takes care of it immediately! Worth the service investment!

23 Apr 24 update: I've been a Mosquito Joe customer for a few years now and am very satisfied with their service. One of my neighbors has been a customer for several years and recommended their service as a way to join forces in our battle to enjoy working/playing/relaxing in our yards without being eaten alive by these voracious vampires also known as Virginia mosquitos. Over the years, several different technicians have come to my home, and all of them have communicated proactively the day before and day of service on arrival times and when the service was completed. My current technician is John, and he is no exception to the high standard of customer service. I have far fewer mosquitos in my yards, and if it unexpectedly rains after a treatment, i just call, and Mosquito Joe will send a technician back out to retreat the property. I also appreciate the discount on their annual service plan if you pay in advance. Mosquito Joe is a game changer! We can now sit outside and enjoy our patio without counting mosquito bites on our children or ourselves. The difference is noticeable after the first treatment. We loved the results so much that we purchased the service for the entire season. Natalie from the office patiently answered every one of my 137 questions, and the setup was quick and easy. I wanted a bug-free yard for a graduation party. It's still spring, so gnats were the big issue, with mosquitoes in second place. My technician, Paris went ABOVE AND BEYOND! He noticed that it was going to rain hard for 2 days before my event. So he offered to visit my house TWICE at no extra cost to me. Once to come place the granular treatment for the gnats BEFORE the rain because the rain actually helps "water it in." And again AFTER the heavy rains to spray for mosquitoes breeding in all the puddles left behind. The home office helper (Natalie?) was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I've never hired outdoor pest control pros before and now I know who I will call next time! For context, I am what some might call a "picky" customer and rarely leave reviews, so this one means a lot!

MJ does an excellent job … timely, courteous, professional. I have not noticed any detrimental effects on our plants or bird life, so am happy with that as well. The reduction in mosquitoes is very noticeable. Great firm, good service.

This is at least the 4th year we've been using Mosquito Joe's. Our tech this year, Paris has been amazing. We have a mix of fruit & vegetable plants around our yard, he does a great job to work around them and still keep any mosquitoes at bay.

Most of the services are basically the same, but you will not find a more courteous, flexible, quality work and responsiveness company than Mosquito Joe! They don't force you into an ongoing contract, but only suggest a treatment every 21-28 days depending on your needs. Our house in NW DC always had mosquitoes and other flying insects around – particularly at night when we were coming home from work or being out. They disappeared almost entirely with the first treatment and was even better after the 2nd. Staying with them from now on!

We have been using (blessedly!) the services of Mosquito Joe for several years now – and we are truly amazed at the way it has affected our outdoor life. We now have a summer outdoor life without saturating the patio with Yard Guard – cans and cans of Yard Guard. Layers and layers of OFF! Can you see my smile? Mosquito Joe comes reliably every two weeks. And Paris, the young man applying our treatment, is extremely thorough. We have a deep yard with a lot of plantings and foliage. Paris carefully makes his through all of it – our front and side yards are equally dense. He is personable and courteous and never neglects our deck. This is getting lengthy – but honestly, Mosquito Joe has made such a difference to our enjoyment of summer outdoors. And their staff is so competent and responsive – both at our home and with phone inquiries. Truly a great experience.

After two sprays we weren’t seeing a change. I called and they said many people are saying they also have mites. They came out that day ans sprayed for mosquitos and mites free of charge! And the office always responds immediately!
