After the 3rd or 4th application, I got bit, and I was thrilled! Ok, weird way to start a 5-star review, but hear me out. This bite was after I had been out on our deck for 4 hours straight! Before Mosquito Joe, I would get bit within a couple of minutes when I went on my deck. 4 hours would be unthinkable as I would already have 20+ bites within the first half hour. I have tried bug spray, citronella candles, sandlewood, … you name it, even the Cutter fogger Spray with deet and the fogger combined would work ok, but only for up to 2 hours and even then I'd still get a couple of bites. But I'd also be covered in nasty bug spray. My wife decided to try Mosquito Joe because she really wanted me to be able to join her outside (one of the lucky ones who don't get bit or doesn't react to the venom) and we are SO glad she did. I can enjoy our deck again!!!

Getting an estimate and signing up was easy. The bottom line, however, is NO MOSQUITOS! We can actually go outside again. We have had two treatments and, so far, this seems like one of those rare products/services that lives up to its promises. I wish we had tried this years ago.

My backyard was inaccessible due to the swarms of mosquitoes as soon as you went outside. Since Mosquito Joe I can spend hours outside before the first hint of a mosquito and I have yet to come back in with a single bite! It has allowed us to host backyard parties for family and friends so much so that we invested in enclosing our fence since more family gatherings are possible. I also noticed not getting bitten in the front of the house a well. We were able to spend 4+ hours planting and weeding the front lawn! The service technicians are always prompt and respectful and usually call us before they arrive or to alert us if we left a window open prior to spaying. Thanks again !!

I used Mosquito Joe for the first time in the spring of 2018. After the first treatment, I was sold! The application REALLY works. I normally get eaten up by mosquitoes whenever I go outside but after Mosquito Joe, I can now enjoy my yard without even spraying myself with mosquito repellent. Since mosquitoes in DC are so bad and I love relaxing and gardening in my yard, I decided to try Mosquito Joe, a local pest control company, to eliminate mosquitoes in my backyard and around my house. Trayvon starting treating my lawn in the spring and applied monthly applications throughout the summer. He routinely notified me before coming to my home and always reminded me to keep my pets inside for an hour after the application. I found the service, which also treats ticks and fleas, extremely effective and affordable. The service is also very easy to set up and they can give you a quote over the phone.

I love how they use text to communicate when he’s coming as well as send a follow up video after giving me pointers on things he sees in the yard. I think my technician did a awesome job he came and he put a spray for the mosquitoes. They also have a program where as they can spray for the Rose, which you know DC has a problem with rats so their rodents and I have not seen any since my his initial visit so I do recommend him highly very professional very competent and if he can work around your schedule, he will if you have to run out if he knows you’re coming backin 10 minutes or less possibly he will wait so I am very pleased

THANK YOU for the Thermacell installation. It has been life changing. We run it on a schedule of 40 minutes 5x's per day and it gets rid of 90% of mosquitoes & flies even when it's not on. Mosquito Joe lived up to their guarantee, when spraying did not work, they found something that did. They even came back and reinstalled the system when the location didn't work (for free). I would highly recommend the professional install. We got a portable system from Home Depot the back yard and it doesn't work nearly as well.
